This article examines the role of the International Labour Organization (ILO) in promoting gender equality and protecting the rights of migrant women in the context of international labor law and immigration policies. The ILO's efforts to address gender-specific issues in labor law, such as unequal pay and gender-based violence, are analyzed, along with its focus on protecting the rights of all workers regardless of immigration status. The article highlights the critical role of the collaboration between the ILO, governments, civil society, and international organizations to ensure the promotion and defense of equality between men and women. The importance of addressing these challenges through a gendered lens is emphasized, as well as the need for increased awareness and education of such issues. Through its analysis of the ILO's efforts, the article underscores the need for continued advocacy and collaboration to ensure that international labor law protects the rights of all individuals, particularly women and migrant workers.
