This case study analyzed reproductive labor, from a Marxist feminist perspective, performed by women in modern slavery conditions in a religious community located in the countryside of Pará Brazilian state, inquiring whether the activities performed could be considered as labor law kind, able to generate rights and responsibilities between those involved. The research also allowed a comparison between the analyzed facts and several theses used to support feminist’s claims concerning reproductive labor.
