Abstract

This paper results from a case study on a fact widely reported in Brazil, involving allegations of harassment – ​​moral and sexual – at the Globo Tv Network, the most important communication complex in the country. Such situations produce harmful effects on the work environment, with specific and resounding repercussions on women present in the labor market. The article presents the social fact and its effects on the lives of workers, majorly women, confronting them with existing legislation and doctrine on the matter, with the aim of investigating the relevance of using compliance as a prevention and control measure of harassment.
